The sensor used in the buggy will be a light sensor. On doing some research work I found out a number of light sensors which we can use to make our buggy move.
Light sensors measure the amount of light impacting a photocell, which is basically a resistive sensor. The resistance of a photocell is low when it is brightly illuminated; it is high when it is dark.
Light sensors measure light intensity, difference between photo cells and drop in intensity.
