In groups, you are to build and test an intelligent buggy. It will have two modes of operation. The mode of operation should be selectable by a switch.
Line Following
The line will be a dark magnetic strip of 20mm width. Deviations of this line will be at no more than 45ยบ.
At the end of the project each buggy will be tested on a simple track.
Instruction
Your buggy will also be expected to read road markings and execute the appropriate motion. These markings will again be formed from 20mm wide magnetic tape.
At the end of the project each buggy will be tested on a variety of symbols.
Project Operation
Each group will be expected to rely on themselves and their own initiative.
Progress must be reported in a blog and specific targets will be given each week.

Picaxe project board.(programming cable, battery box etc.)
Motor driver board
Pair of worm drive motors
Wheels
Electronic components, as per project box.
